居住海外马来西亚人请注意！若您的护照在今年到期，都可以申请免费延期两年。马来西亚驻我国最高专员公署在2021年6月8日在社交网站Facebook宣布消息时表示，由于近来海外马国人申请更新护照的数量大增，为了缓解情况，马国移民当局决定给予这项免费护照延长优惠。马来西亚人必须到高级专员公署/大使馆填写表格并将其提交，当局将向申请人发送一封电子邮件，让他们按照时间前往临近的大使馆以在护照的备注页或第48页盖章。
需要付费吗？

问：无法上传照片，付款页面无法使用怎么办？
答：尝试其他浏览器！在这里我们友情推荐Safari浏览器。如果还是不能，请尝试使用其他浏览器，根据亲测结果，以下方法有效！
- 旧三星手机上的Internet浏览器
- IE浏览器
- Android上的Microsoft Edge设计
- Google Chrome浏览器
如果您在在线上传照片/付款时遇到任何问题，可以截图向官方咨询，具体方法可参阅第二步。
护照照片要求：
- 所占内存大小必须大于100kb且小于1mb
- 照片规格45mm X 32mm
- 照片背景必须为白色
- 被摄对象必须注视相机
- 睁开眼睛，闭上嘴
- 头发不遮盖脸，让脸完整露出
- 深色衣服必须遮盖肩膀和胸部
- 没有眼镜或有色隐形眼镜
- 左右耳都必须能够看见
- 没有发光/反光的额头
这样看来，要求还是很严的噢，所以大家可一定要严格按照要求来噢，免得节外生枝。
问：付款问题如何解决？
答：尝试使用其他浏览器比如Safari，谷歌浏览器，三星浏览器。使用马来西亚Maybank帐户（没有马来西亚银行帐户的，就请您在马来西亚的朋友提供帮助）。出门靠朋友，还真是这么回事！

新的Dropbox系统
马来西亚高级专员公署（High Commission of Malaysia, Singapore），新加坡 facebook页面有新更新，从2021年3月17日起， 将实施DROPBOX系统。DROPBOX系统运行24小时，可为公众提供护照续签。移民局就只接受在线预约。对于无法申请预约却成功在线续签的，您可以把官方收据‘RESIT RASMI’ 丢进马来西亚高级专员公署监护室前的一个专属邮箱。在这里要提醒您的是，记得写您的电子邮件地址和新加坡联系电话。
如果您无法在线续订，请按照以下说明使用DROPBOX作为申请程序：
- 姓名
- 马来西亚身份证号码
- 电子邮件地址
- 新加坡联系电话
- 出生证明/ BORANG’H’号码（适用于12岁以下的儿童）
如有查询，请发送电子邮件至 [email protected]
步骤3：等待
在那之后，您所能做的就是希望，并祈祷能尽快答复。
根据最新发布信息，从2021年3月起，High Comm也不再接受电子邮件预约。如果您通过线上成功在线申请，您将申请之日起14天内收到通过[email protected]通过电子邮件通知您领取护照的预约日期。
若成功申请了MyOnline Passport，并收到了来自[email protected]的电子邮件，上面有“LULUS TEMPOH TAMBAHAN”字样，但此邮件不包含[email protected]的护照领取预约日期的话，请在周一至周五下午2.30 – 4.00排队并携带从[email protected]打印的电子邮件信息，以及“DOCUMENT TO BRING” 列中列出的文档前往办公大楼柜台1。

恭喜，您已经走到了这一步！可是不要过于兴奋噢，请确保您一定要携带您所有的手续及证件：

- 水，为自己解渴
- 充满电的手机和充电宝
- 电风扇，炎热的天气会让您欲哭无泪
- 雨伞，可以阻挡毒辣的阳光
- 耐心 （为了出国，忍啊！）
- 一些可以娱乐自己的东西–一本书/您的耳机去观看节目/一些东西可以充分利用您排队等待的时间
当您到达大门外时，您需要扫描2个QR码（1个用于健康声明，1个用于安全进入）/ 使用TraceTogether应用程序或token签到, 最新更新是到2021年6月1号全面开始使用。
如何前往马来西亚高级专员公署？
地址：301 Jervois Rd，Singapore 249077
工作天：星期一到星期五
时间：上午8点至下午12点（周五除外，直到11.30am）
出租车（最佳选择）
巴士线路：14、65、32、139和970（在Valley Point Building巴士站下车）450米或步行5分钟
捷运： 最近的捷运站：中峇鲁站- Tiong Bahru MRT（步行1.3公里或16分钟）和红山站-Bukit Merah（步行1.4公里或18分钟）
开车 ：没有停车场附近，如果你绝对需要的驱动，你可以尝试在温馨公寓- Loft @ Nathan 公寓（是的，这是停车场公共），步行距离550m / 7分钟

- 马来西亚护照（需要更新的护照）+无需复印件

基本上，您可以在家中准备好上述所有文件，只需从柜台10获取申请表，并在5分钟内填写完毕，然后返回柜台10。然后，您将得到一个等候号码，将所有文件提交柜台，警务人员将为您拍照（这是您的护照照片，请确保您穿着深色衣服，或者他们会借您一件黑色外套来遮盖）。
